Cowboy

Cowboy is a 3 year old AQHA palomino stud colt. He has been haltered, leads, picks up all four feet, ties, trailers and bathes. He has had ground training; bending, flexing, moving from pressure, disengaging front and hind end. John Marquez has worked on his saddle work. John has focused on moving out, bending at the neck and rib cage, disengaging the hips and shoulders, stopping and backing. Cowboy has had around 20 rides; he has never bucked, scooted or hopped. A very curious colt that has not shown any studiness, very friendly, goes with the flow and concentrates on what you are asking on him. He is currently being ridden in a bosal and will advance into a snaffle. Cowboy is eligible for NCHA Super Stakes, the Breeder’s Invitational and NRCHA Reined Cow Horse Stakes. Her ground training has been bending, flexing, moving from pressure, disengaging her shoulders and hips. John Marquez, her trainer, focuses on moving forward, bending at the neck and rib cage. This includes disengaging the shoulders and hips, moving off of pressure, and cues from the legs and hands. Shirley knows her gates, has a quick stop, backs, and works off her hind end like a dream. Ridden about 20 times, Shirley has a great start, works well in a bosal and would be a great asset to anyone’s program. Shirley is being offered at $2,200.
